[Gempar] - Facebook Umum Beli WhatsApp RM52.7 bilion

Facebook Inc umum akan membeli aplikasi pesanan ringkas WhatsApp dengan harga AS$16 bilion (RM52.7 bilion).

Facebook akan membayar AS$4 (RM13.2) bilion secara tunai dan selebihnya dengan saham bagi pembelian terbesar syarikat itu setakat ini. 

Pengasas bersama merangkap Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif WhatsApp Jan Koum akan menyertai lembaga pengarah Facebook. 

Facebook juga berjanji mengekalkan jenama serta perkhidmatan WhatsApp. -Reuters
